Several weeks ago, rapper The Game allegedly "threatened" Young Thug in defense of Cash Money rival, Lil Wayne. But apparently, the YMCMB superstar wasn't too thankful for Game's outspoken support, and now the "How We Do" emcee is pretty offended.
Supposedly, things got extremely intense during a huge Memorial Day Weekend bash in Miami on Saturday night (May 23). Weezy was hosting Varsity Group's blowout celebration at IVY nightclub, when Game suddenly arrived with some members of his crew. He sort of "crashed" the party, and the 32-year-old New Orleans native was NOT very amused...
So Weezy continued ignoring the West Coast hypeman the entire evening. According to the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com, Game was "clearly expecting more of a warm welcome this time." And he wasn't about to let Wayne's rude behavior fly.
As more alcohol started flowing, the angrier he got. At one point, he stomped towards the DJ booth and exclaimed to the crowd:
"I did that in Atlanta for ya n*ggas... I'm not feeling the energy in here - n*ggas gotta say whatup to me".
His harsh words were obviously directed towards Christina Milian's rumored boyfriend. But Weezy still didn't react. Alleged MTO insiders explain that "Wayne didn't want Game gaining any more publicity over antagonizing situations that have nothing to do with him."
Ouch.
Eyewitnesses say that Wayne refused to even acknowledge the LAX superstar. He wouldn't go near him, and whenever Tunechi wished to address the crowd a mic had to be brought directly to his table. Game's pal Troy Ave was left standing onstage, totally confused.
But thankfully, no violent altercation occurred. Both rappers were surrounding by security guards when leaving the venue. The report concludes, "Sources from both camps assure it was simply a tense moment and their relationship has not been severed."
