'Teen Mom 2' Leah Messer Custody Battle Heating Up? Jeremy Calvert Hires Lawyer for Fight

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is reportedly finally in rehab for her personal issues, but while she is in there, it looks like her marriage to Jeremy Calvert is closer than ever to being officially done. The MTV dad hired a divorce lawyer and will fight for custody of their 2 year-old daughter, Adalynn.

According to Radar Online, Jeremy hired West Virginia attorney Rusty Webb, who also happens to be Leah's ex-husband Corey Simms' defender. In a shocking twist, Life & Style is reporting, via Radar, that the reality mom's exes wanted to get custody of her children while she was getting help in rehab.

"Jeremy's plan was to swoop in once Leah went to rehab and get an emergency hearing," a source told the gossip mag. "Corey was considering it, too."

However, the two decided against the idea so not to interfere with the mother of three's treatment.

As MStars News reported, Leah was forced into rehab by MTV producers for a drug addiction, but the reality star would claims it was for depression.

"A source close to Leah noted that the reality star is in for depression and stress, not drug use," according to US Weekly. "She was originally signed up for a 30-day stint, but could be released early. It currently looks like she will check out of rehab at the end of June."

"Leah didn't exactly go willingly, however. The production source says that the show's producers had to essentially force Leah to go," reality TV gossip site The Ashley Reality Roundup reported. "They used something in her contract terms to force her to go to rehab... producers basically refused to continue their contract with her until she went."

Leah's mom, Dawn Spears, took to her daughter's Facebook to deny any talk of a prescription pill abuse or rehab.

"TRUE FANS listen up. Leah is NOT going to rehab lol. This is Momma Dawn and I 100% ASSURE you that Leah is NOT going to a DRUG REHAB," she wrote. "Lots of LOVE to the true fans. all will come out on the upcoming show about Leah Dawn Calvert, Jeremy, [Leah's ex-husband] Corey, [Corey's wife] Miranda, and the babies. But rest assure I HATE drugs don't want association with them and wouldn't NEVER Condone them."
