Katt Williams was arrested by police after being pulled over for a routine traffic stop in Yolo County. A warrant issued from a few weeks ago has the reason why the on-and-off again comedian was seen in handcuffs again.
The comedian was in a police chase on his three-wheeled motorcycle on November 25. During the chase police asked him to stop and had to call off the chase because of his dangerous and reckless driving. Immediately, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last week, Forrest Liebenberg had been fired from Target after Katt Williams had slapped him during a heated confrontation. The slap was caught on camera and clearly shows Liebenberg using his cell phone to call the police.
With no reason the employee was fired, "I'm just as curious as you are Derek, but I'm definitely going to follow up with that," he continued to tell CBS 13, "Maybe I was a little uninformed about how seriously the situation was with Target, but obviously it is pretty serious, I was just terminated today. They weren't very clear, but it is obvious to me that it was based on this incident."
After a wild week, Katt Williams say he is retiring from stand up comedy. Earlier this week, Katt Williams was on camera for slapping Liebenberg and was later arrested by Seattle police after he argued with another patron at a bar, attacked the manager with a pool cue, refusing to leave the World Sports Grille.
According to Seattlepi.com said, "I'm just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up, I'm kinda done," Williams said. "I've discussed it with my kids, I wasn't gonna do in the middle of a Seattle street, I was going to go to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or LiveNation."
The "Friday After Next" announced that his stand-up tour was cancelled. The troubled star was also ordered to leave his Courtyard Marriott hotel room after a unknown incident. In an interview with KOMO TV his hands appeared bloody and bruised up and the comedian claimed that he had been kicked out of four Seattle hotels so far.
The comedian says he will sue the city of Seattle for destroying his image, "I can stay (on the ferry), and my family can be there, and my dogs can be there, and my whole staff can be there, until we get done suing Seattle for this $50 million that I want for crippling my reputation as a father, and a black man, and as a taxpaying citizen, and as a person who is not a convicted felon," Williams said.
