Would The Game deem Lil Wayne hip-hop's ultimate G.O.A.T?
Well, maybe not after being totally shaded by the YMCMB superstar while partying in Miami over Memorial Day Weekend. But according to fellow rapper A$AP Rocky, Weezy deserves more recognition within the industry. However, Wayne might not achieve such success until after his death (like 2Pac).
In a recent radio interview with Hot 97 host Nessa, the "F*ckin' Problems" rhymer states that Tunechi is definitely "one of the greatest of all time." Still, Rocky understands why some fans still think that Wayne's currently "ruining" his career and legacy with Cash Money Records. But the 26-year-old Harlem native muses that "if [Weezy] died today, then he will be treated like 2Pac - where everyone will break down his lyrics. Rocky "doesn't understand why people don't do that today" (via lilwaynehq.com).
