Osi Umenyiora Denies Affair with Mistress Following Marriage to Miss Universe Leila Lopes

It looks like NFL star, Osi Umenyiora is going after the alleged mistress claiming that the two had an affair in the middle of his wedding festivities over the weekend to Miss Universe Leila Lopes.

According to The Shade Room, Osi claims that a man was behind all the text messages that alleged that there wa an affair.

The New York Post reported that an alleged mistress posted a series of texts via Instagram, claiming that the she had been involved in an intimate affair with the athlete.

The former Giants player tied the knot with former Miss Universe Leila Lopes on Friday, May 30 in Angola.

The newlyweds released a statement Tuesday revealing that the cheating scandal was false.

"We strongly condemn the vicious and malicious lies that have recently been perpetuated all over the media," the statement read. "We already know that these lies are a coordinated effort by a single unstable MALE source to malign and discredit an otherwise joyous and highly successful occasion. An appropriate legal recourse is currently in effect."
