What if the dinosaurs of prehistoric times weren't wiped out by a gigantic asteroid? In Disney Pixar's upcoming animated adventure, The Good Dinosaur, we get to see what that would look like. This week, we were treated to the first teaser trailer for the film, which has a release date set for November 25, 2015. "This is a boy and a dog story, but the roles are reversed," Pixar head John Lasseter said last month at Cannes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Lucas Neff voices our main dinosaur, a friendly Apatosaurus named Arlo that befriends a human named spot - hence the Lasseter description. We basically get to see how prehistoric man could have come into the world of dinosaurs in this imaginative new story.
