In news that we could see coming from a mile away, it is being reported that Kim Richards is no longer a housewife. That's right, the star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, who has been with the show since the beginning, has been fired from season seven. While the show is getting ready to get back into production, Kyle Richards' sister Kim will be absent from the cast. It seems that the starlet's off-screen antics were too much of a liability to production that they decided to cut their losses and move forward without her.

According to Radar Online, the decision was decided upon earlier this morning, when Kim's recent behavior was taken into consideration.

"It was decided this morning at a meeting that Kim is not being asked back on the show because of her failure to communicate everything with her bosses," a source close to the series told the news site.

It seems that when Kim went missing after her daughter Brooke's wedding in Mexico, at the end of last month, that it was the last straw for production.

"When Kim went missing in action she refused to answer calls of anyone from the network for the entire time," an insider revealed. "They had to find out about her entering rehab again from a family member."

However, according to the site, it seems like getting rid of Kim is a happy relief for the network, as they no longer have to worry about the star being a liability for them.

"They decided that it was time to let her go because there was a lack of communication, and they are glad to see her go," the source explained. "Finally, they can no longer be held accountable for her misconduct."

Yet despite the reports, it seems that E! News has a more optomistic view, saying that the star could possibly return for guest spots on the series.
