Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has had rumors of a drug addiction around her for years that came to a head when it was revealed the MTV star needed help for her problem. After weeks of not knowing if she was in rehab, it seems as though she finally went this week.
"A source close to Leah noted that the reality star is in for depression and stress, not drug use," according to US Weekly. "She was originally signed up for a 30-day stint, but could be released early. It currently looks like she will check out of rehab at the end of June."
Apparently, Leah was supposed to go to rehab earlier, but had to deal with custody issues with ex-husband Corey Simms regarding their twins Ali and Aleeah.
In the recently released action-packed trailer for season 6 of the hit MTV series, the West Virginia native's storyline will delve heavily into whether or not she has been popping pills.
"I've been accused of being an unfit mother, abusing drugs," Leah tearfully says, while estranged husband Jeremy Calvert remarks, "The girl I fell in love with, ain't the girl I got now."

As MStars News reported, the reality mom didn't want to go to rehab, but was forced by MTV producers to get help for her drug dependency issues.
"Leah didn't exactly go willingly, however. The production source tells The Ashley that the show's producers had to essentially force Leah to go," according to The Ashley Reality Roundup. "They used something in her contract terms to force her to go to rehab... producers basically refused to continue their contract with her until she went."
In Touch Weekly, via Radar Online, recently reported that Leah wasn't being completely about why she had to go away for help.
"She's still telling people she's going away for therapy," a source told the gossip mag. "They're hoping her denial doesn't stop her from making a fresh start."
Do you think the Teen Mom 2 star will finally get the assistance that she needs to get better?
