You may not know this, but Kim Kardashian was diagnosed with a high-blood pressure disorder called preeclampsia while carrying her firstborn child, North West. Now that Kardashian is expecting a second child, she is hoping to avoid these same complications. In order to be free of this high-blood pressure disorder she has hired a nutritionist and has adopted a strict diet.

Sources close to the Kardashian family say the nutritionist is consulting her regarding weekly meal plans. Her main focus is said to be lots of water and very little salt. The less salt the better.

Another thing Kardashian has been attempting to cut off is sweets. Last week, morning sickness stopped her from getting into the famed National Doughnut Day. Instead of having a doughnut, she had a protein shake – something we're sure her nutritionist would rather she have.

Five months into Kardashian's last pregnancy she swore to never have a baby but it looks like that isn't the case anymore. Her reason for that was because of body image issues she was having during that time, which she talked about on Keeping up With the Kardashians.

"They really hurt my soul. It changed how I am in public. I've tried to live more of a private life," she said. "My body just went crazy. After five months I swore I'd never get pregnant again. I got so huge and it felt like someone had taken over my body."

Later this month Kardashian will find out the baby's sex. After that she'll be decorating a nursery at their $20 milliom home in Hidden Hills, California.

What kind of diet do you think Kardashian should get on regarding her health complications?

 Love
