Taylor Swift Intruder Arrested and Charged for Trespassing at Nashville Home, Jacob Kulke Wanted to 'Be with Songstress on her Birthday'

Reports confirm that a home intruder was arrested and charged for trespassing on Friday (Dec. 14) after attempting to enter pop-country star Taylor Swift's Nashville mansion. When police promptly arrived at the scene after security called, 24-year-old Jacob Kulke (claiming to be the "Red" songstress' boyfriend) insisted that he just "wanted to be with Swift on her birthday" - considering Swift just turned 23 on Thursday, Dec. 13. Thankfully, Swift allegedly flew off to London from NYC with her current boy-toy Harry Styles late Friday evening, so she was not home at the time of the "birthday surprise."

Authorities report that Kulke was arrested at approximately at 1:45 a.m. early Friday morning after allegedly hopping the large fence into Swift's 6000 square foot Nashville, TN property. He was promptly detained by Swift's home security guards until police arrived. Apparently Kulke thought he was Swift's boyfriend, and insisted that he had traveled all the way from Wisconsin to be with her on her birthday. He went so far as to tell law enforcement that he had gotten in contact with Swift through "social media."

Kulke was arrested and is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.

Swift recently told the British Cosmopolitan:

"I get nervous when I have stalker incidents...Sometimes you get a dude who kind of wants to steal you. That's why I'm so grateful I have people looking after me... It's something you just have to deal with. It's the price you pay for getting to do what you love. You can let it take over your life and make you fearful all the time, or you can live your life in spite of it."
