It looks like Jeb Bush has two announcements under his belt: 1) he's announced that he's going to announce that he will run for President of the United States in 2016 on the GOP side, which seems weird, and 2) the brother to George W. Bush is heading to the Tonight Show this coming June 16. Which are we more excited for? Well, the latter...
It's being reported by Deadline that Bush will take to Jimmy Fallon's famed NBC series the day after he's scheduled to announce his 2016 Presidential run. It'll be his first experience on late night television, but of course, it's not a total shocker; Presidential candidates have time and time again (in the last decade or so) made public appearances on late night talk shows in attempts to hit a younger, and wider, audience.
President Barack Obama has spoken to nearly all of the late night hosts, including past Tonight Show lead Jay Leno. He recently made a stopover to The Late Show with David Letterman just before the iconic comedian retired from his show.
Of course, while he hasn't made a late night appearance before, Bush has made a few appearances on daytime talk shows and panels. Take a look below:
So readers, are you excited for Bush's Tonight Show appearance? How about his 2016 Presidential run announcement... announcement?
