The June 10, 2015 edition of NXT airs on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. Eastern and features an encounter between Samoe Joe and the champion, Kevin Owens.
The episode begins with Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder, who defeat Elias Sampson and Mike Rallis and then celebrate like there's no tomorrow.
We see a video package called "Finn Balor Arrives" that promotes his July 4 NXT Championship match with Kevin Owens in Japan.
Emma defeats Blue Pants by submission.
Enzo Amore, Big Cass, and Carmella cut a promo backstage on Wesley Blake, Buddy Murphy, and Alexa Bliss. It's a hilarious segment that contains references to both The Hunger Games and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Tyler Breeze defeats Bull Dempsey with the Beauty Shot.
Becky Lynch defeats Jessie McKay with the Fujiwara Armbar.
Backstage, General Manager William Regal announces that Samoa Joe will make his in-ring debut tonight with Kevin Owens on commentary. Bull Dempsey interrupts and claims that he was tired just now when he fought Breeze, all while he's eating a bag of Doritos. Regal snatches the chips and tells him to get it together, so Bull pulls out a chocolate bar instead.
Baron Corbin defeats Angelo Dawkins with the End of Days.
Samoa Joe defeats Scott Dawson, while Owens says on commentary that he could do every one of Joe's moves better. After the match, Owens leaves and tries to head to the back, but Joe grabs a microphone and says he is a coward who runs away from fights. Owens jokes he doesn't "run" anywhere really and says it wouldn't be right to knock Joe out after he just had his debut match. The champ pokes fun at his own debut and says it's ridiculous for Joe to think he can just get a title shot immediately after showing up in NXT. He calls Joe an NXT rookie and tries to give him some veteran advice. Regal comes out and announces Kevin Owens vs. Samoa Joe for next week.
