LeBron James NBA Championship for Family Member Fighting Serious Illness?

You can see it in LeBron James' eyes just how bad he wants a NBA Championship, but is there a specific reason that James is trying to claim victory this season? According to Media Take Out, the four-time MVP is fighting to bring home a Championship because an unknown family member is battling a serious illness.

The infamous gossip site claims that they received the sad news earlier this week, even stating that they had facts that the story isn't a rumor. MTO claims that after speaking with two sources, they learned that the family member is battling for their life after falling ill.

It's been a great season for James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. They beat the Golden State Warriors in Game three this week, 96-91, and in Game two, 95-93. The Cavaliers will take on the Warriors Thursday for Game 4 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

MTO revealed that, despite having information about James' family, they are not allowed to go into details. They claim LeBron is going to make a statement following the finals. The infamous gossip site also reported that ESPN was asked not to report the news or make an announcement on the serious situation until the after NBA Finals, when LeBron and his family reveal it.

If the news is as big as MTO is saying, they claim that fans and NBA followers will be shocked to know how much LeBron went through this season, but has had the support from his wife, Savannah.
