It looks like all has been forgiven between Neffe and her superstar singer sister, Keyshia Cole. In this week's new episode of Frankie and Neffe there was a lot of drama, but in the end some tears of joy, hugs, and forgiveness.
In the beginning of this new episode for this season, things were heating up as Neffe and her sister, Elite talked one-on-one with a counselor. During the tearful session, they hashed some of their issues out.
"I think that I never had a chance to be a big sister. Me and my siblings were never raised together," Neffe admitted.
"We've always been the mother figure for mother," Neffe's sister said, as she hoped for a better relationship with her sister.
As the session wrapped up, the girls' troubled mother, Frankie interrupted the meeting and decided to join in with the conversation.
"I know what an abusive man is. I know what a molester is. I know what a rapist is, and a drug dealer is," Neffe said as she remembers the past men in her and her mother's lives.
Elite had a better view of men and a more positive look than her sister.
"I've had more positive women in my life than men period," Neffe said as her mother asked if she was one of them.
Things turn left from right when Frankie makes some comments that result in Neffe walking away. Later on in the show, Neffe called her sister Keyshia and revealed that she wanted her support during her counseling session.
Keyshia, who has had her past issues with her family, decided that she would come and join her sister. Things aren't going so well for Neffe and her husband, Soullow. He's trying to get into the music industry with his rapping and it seems that things aren't working out.
"I'm going to make this hit record. I don't think music is the career for me," he told his wife, after trying to stay motivated.
"Shelby [Soullow] wants to succeed, but I think that because he was shot 10 times, and had to learn how to walk again that can take a lot out of a man," Neffe explained.
"At least put one record out, you dope," Neffe claims about her husband because the family is desperate for money.
Meanwhile in the final scene, Neffe met up with her sister, Keyshia and the counselor.
"I felt like you've been gone from me," Keyshia said to her sister in therapy.
Neffe explains that she has been out and gone for years. She claims that past assaults, rape, and molestation have messed her up and tearfully said: "It was just horrible. Just being victimized like that at such an young age. Not knowing how it feels to lose your virginity when you really truly want to. To have it striped from you and have to go to court and testify. It was just an horrible experience," Neffe cried out to Keyshia.
"The older I got I thought I was ugly. I had low self esteem. I wanted to fight everybody," she added.
"This is really huge of you, and I couldn't image going through what you've been through," Keyshia said.
"Only by the grace of God I'm still standing," Neffe proudly stated.
"I'm relieved, and I needed her to know, and fell why I was so angry," Neffe said.
Neffe asks Keyshia for her forgiveness. and the two make up. Finally, after all those years of the drama, these two are at least on good terms. Well done!
