The Duggars have been making headline news over the last couple of weeks as Josh Duggar's molestation scandal has become public news. In the wake of all this, the whole family has been doing damage control and making public appearances to try to help their case, even discussing the sexual abuse scandal during TV interviews. However, it looks like not just the immediate family has to cope with the issues, but also those that married into the clan. In the wake of the scandal, it seems that Derick Dillard has been feeling the heat -- so much so that he quit his job at Wal-Mart.

When reports began circling that Derick had left his job at Wal-Mart, fans were unsure whether or not it was Dillard's own choice to leave the company behind, or if the company had let him go because of the happenings with his family.

However, according to Radar Online it seems that Derick left the position on his own accord, at least according to a spokesperson for the company.

"Mr. Dillard did leave the company on his own, made that decision," Kory Lundberg, a rep for Wal-Mart told the site.

While Derick might have loved his job less then three months ago, according to his Instagram post celebrating his one-year anniversary, according to The Inquistr, it appears that he was getting sick of his co-workers pestering him with questions about his newborn baby.

"Poor guy - he's up all night with the baby, then he has to go to work and have his co-workers asking him all kinds of questions about his wife, their newborn baby, the rest of the family and the TV show," the source told the site. "He can barely get any work done!"
