Bethenny Frankel, Jason Hoppy Divorcing: 'RHONY' Star Hires Lawyer To Protect $100 Million, Daughter Bryn, And Brand Name

Bethenny Frankel and husband Jason Hoppy are heading for divorce. The reality star was spotted in New York without her wedding ring and she's apparently "meeting with lawyers and just figuring out the next steps," a source said. "It's over."

The "Real Housewives of New York" reality star had made a name for herself after creating the "Skinny Girl" cocktail brand which sold for $100 million, may be lawyering up soon to protect her money and other entrepreneurial brands, "exit plan in mind for months," at at this point, "It's really just a matter of when they'll file," a source says.

According to RadarOnline, last summer, the couple had been rumored to have marital problems when Bethenny moved out for several weeks with Bryn leaving Jason behind, "has been bubbling up for a year," a close friend added, "Bethenny will never show it, but she's devastated that it didn't work," the friend continued, "She wanted it all -- the career, the husband and the family."

As for the their two-year-old daughter Bryn, the couple will try not to get her involved in the marital dispute, "Bethenny puts Bryn first and Jason is a great dad: They love that kid and will do anything to make her happy."
