'Silicon Valley' Season 2: Ep 10 Recap: ls Thomas Middleditch's Richard In 'Two Days Of The Condor?'

From the comedic mind of Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-head), the Season 2 finale of Silicon Valley arrives on HBO. In Episode 10, will Erlich Bachman (T.J. Miller), Richard Hendriks (Thomas Middleditch), and the rest of the tech gang survive 'Two Days of the Condor?'

Belson's lawyers show up at Elrich's place, confiscating all their files back. Knowing that they lost in court, Elrich is actually considering moving and selling the house. Even though Elrich is still mad at the lawyer, Jerry Sunshine (Matt McCoy) feels bad for the loss and respects Richard. Jerry and Richard still have to appear in court for the judge's final ruling.

The egg rescuer, who tripped and fell into the caves, has been yelling at the camera for help. His desperate cries for help have gone viral because the views to the live-stream have  been growing to the thousands. When the rescuer says he might have to drink his own urine, the hits go straight up to the millions. 

Realizing their own success will be downfall, the live-stream somehow has to kept up. Even though their live-stream is a success, Richard wonders if he should delete Pied Piper so that Belson doesn't get his hands on everything. Richard is unfortunately called back into work, leaving the others to save the day.  

Meanwhile, Jared (Zach Woods) joins Dinesh and Gilyole as they work at full speed to keep the live-stream up. With the servers up in flames, Elrich changes his mind about selling the house and steps in as another coder. Together, they manage to keep the live-stream going until the camera is finally turned off. 

Before heading off into the courtroom, Belson (Matt Ross) manages to get inside Richard's head and hit him where it hurts. The gang celebrates together until they get Richard's text. He wants them to delete everything about Pied Piper.

When the judge makes a decision, he overturns what the law states and sides with Richard. Because he hired Jared unlawfully, Belson loses the case. While Belson is screaming at his lawyers, Richard realizes he sent a message to Gilfoyle to delete everything they worked on. 

Because his phone is dead, Richard makes a run for it, hopping on a bus, to get back home. Unfortunately, Gilfoyle pressed the delete key awhile ago, but when he checks on the monitor, he realizes the computer froze; their work is saved after all.  

Because his employee records are tainted, Belson is about to lose big time. Belson shows up at a meeting, where all the investors have shown up. While Belson is going to suffer the consequences while Big Head is being praised because of his three promotions and charity work. 

Monica (Amanda Crew) meets with Russ Hangman (Chris Diamantopoulos), who has just finished his meeting with her boss. Russ is back in business and has his three commas again as a billionaire. Monica praises how Richard was able to pull it together in the end, but her boss isn't so much impressed.

Richard then gets the bad news from Monica on a phone call. After everything he has sacrificed and fought for, Richard has been kicked out as a board member and fired from Pied Piper.
