The same story resurfaced again regarding Morgan Freeman being dead, however this death hoax is all but a hoax. In the year 2012, Freeman died a handful of times and it grew to become a bigger topic than the actual deaths of many celebrities.

The Bruce Almighty actor is currently alive and filming for a new movie according to reports by Clarion Ledger. Freeman's friend Bill Luckett has revealed to the website, “I saw something flash on my computer (Monday) about him." Luckett was referring to another hoax related to a tragic shooting. “He’s a nice and gentle man, and he gets attributed to lots of talk," Luckett added.

“Morgan is busy trying to wrap up a film shoot in Atlanta and doesn’t have time to think on this topic now,” Luckett told the website. “I know you know that he has been the target of several hoaxes.”

One can simply check Freeman's Facebook and see that the actor has written a few notes recently indicating that he is still doing very well and active in his career.

This is the latest message that Freeman posted on December 19, 2012.

"Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freemanfans... we are busy shooting Season 4 right now! But be sure to set your DVR's on Friday Dec. 21st to watch three great episodes from Season 3: Did We Invent God at 9am, Can We Resurrect the Dead at 10am, and What Is Nothing at 11am."

A sincere fan named Jelena Thomas Deligiannis responded, "Best show ever. I hope it never stops. Thank you, Mr. Freeman."

"Morgan, you are the voice of God and I do not wish to believe in any death rumors unless it's featured on CNN front page. Take care and I will always be rooting for you!" wrote a Twitter fan.
