Earlier this year, Mewtwo returned to Super Smash Brothers and that was big news in the Smash community. This was the first time a character was added to a game via downloadable content. Mewtwo isn't the only new character in the Smash-verse though. There are two new characters on the way and one of these guys might possibly the biggest additions the game has ever seen. Ryu from Street Fighter is looking to make his debut very soon. The news came after a Japanese leak showed that he and Roy from Fire Emblem would be making their debut in the Wii U version of the game.

According to Nintendo Everything, the Ryu find came after hackers exploited an update in Japanese consoles. The leak not only shows Ryu, but it also shows his stage. It's an exact replica from the one shown in Street Fighter II.

Ryu's moveset isn't too different from the one we've seen in the Street Fighter games. Neutral-B is Hadouken, Up-B is Shoryuken, Side-B is Tatsumaki and Down-B is his Focus Attack.

The leak also comes with a few other things. Roy from Fire Emblem will be a playable character as well. Other unveilings from the leak are a Splatoon trophy, costumes from Virtua Fighter, Tekken, Mega Man and Animal Crossing. DreamLand 64 will also be added as a playable stage.

It's unknown when these changes will take place but you have to think it'll be within the year. Now that the leaks were shown you'd have to think Nintendo will speed the process of adding Ryu and the stages sooner rather than later.
