'RHOC' SPOILER Season 10 Shannon Beador Cheating Scandal, Comes Clean About Davids Affair

Season 10 of the Real Housewives of Orange County might only be one episode into the brand new season, but the girls of the exclusive California zip code were rocked with a shocking spoiler last week. Fans watched last season as Shannon Beador and her husband David's marital problems played out on screen and during the season premiere, Shannon actually revealed that their problems were intensified after David had an affair. Fans saw the two trying to repair their marriage by going on a couple's retreat, which was where the confession was revealed. While going public was a hard decision to make, Shannon says that she is hoping that it will help others in similar situations.

While the starlet and her husband wrestled with the decision to let the world know about their problems, she spoke out to Radar Online and explained that the hardest part of the whole thing might have been telling their children.

"We went back and forth with the decision for quite some time and whether or not we should put our family and our kids through it," the RHOC mother of three explained. "After a lot of counseling with our church, our counselors and with our children--a lot of discussions with our children--we decided that this was an opportunity to show couples that you don't have to throw in the towel after something like this happens."

According to In Touch, David was also very hopeful about helping others through their situation.

"If we can help just one couple, than it was worth letting it out there because it certainly wasn't an easy thing to do for Shannon or for myself," the househusband explained. "If we can help one couple, or one family, it is all worth it."
