'Chrisley Knows Best' Season 3: Todd & Julie Chrisley Air 2 Back-To-Back Episodes As Ratings Soar!

Season 3 of the popular reality show, Chrisley Knows Best, continues tonight on USA Network. With their season 3 ratings soaring in the ratings, husband and wife Todd and Julie Chrisley continue their hot streak with 2 new back-to-back episodes airing tonight.

In the first season of the USA reality show, audiences were introduced to Todd Chrisley, the self-made millionaire who lives a seemingly great life in Atlanta with wife, Julie, and their five children. While micromanaging his family just like a business plan, the patriarch of the family, with the help of his devoted wife, tries to stay a couple of steps ahead of his 5 children.

As we previously mentioned, Chrisley Knows Best set their series highs with their latest season premiere. The USA reality program ranked second for the night among cable shows in adults 25-54. Could the high ratings have been predicted by the hard work of USA's social media team?

In an interview with Broadcasting Cable, Alexandra Shapiro, USA head of marketing and digital, saw the numbers heading in the right direction, especially with #ChrisleyKnowsBest landing among trending topics and generating about 30,000 tweets.

Shapiro reveals, "I would not recommend this for all shows, but I do think a show like Chrisley Knows Best had the right combination of variables to test this out."

Shaprio describes how Todd and the family are big users of social media, both in real life and on the show. "They eat, breathe and sleep this. They're digital and social natives. Todd has his phone by his side 24-7. He is addicted, for better or worse, to Twitter. He is responding in real time all day to his fans. He's retweeting them, giving people a voice they wouldn't otherwise have. And these aren't canned responses. These are personal, heartfelt, quintessential Todd-isms."

Every week of season 3 will air back-to-back episodes. The 18-episode summer season is set to conclude on July 21.
