As MstarsNews previously reported, K-Stew's mom Jules Mann-Stewart insists that she never actually ousted her daughter's blossoming romance with another female. She allegedly told UK's The Mirror:

"I've met Kristen's new girlfriend, I like her. What's not to accept? She's a lovely girl... What's not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She's happy [and] I accept my daughter loves women and men."

But according to Stewart's overprotective momma, those exact words never left her mouth. Instead, she simply referred to Cargile as a "lovely girl."

Still, the 25-year-old "Clouds of Sils Maria" beauty feels betrayed by the media. An alleged insider tells the popular gossip webloid HollywoodLife.com:

"It's very upsetting for Kristen because she hates having the spotlight on her personal life. She's been living a relatively anonymous life, at least when you compare it to what she went through with Rob, so this feels like a big step backwards. She can't wait for it to be over and for people to leave her alone again."

Meanwhile, reporter Sharon Feinstein still insists that her quotes were definitely not fabricated:

I am disappointed and saddened by her statements to the contrary. This was a very positive story and one told by a loving parent.
