Rapper Gunplay Believes Newtown’s Sandy Hook Shooting Was a Government Conspiracy To Take Away Guns, Still Under House Arrest

Rapper Gunplay, whose original name is Richard Morales Jr. has made a controversial statement regarding the recent tragic events at Newtown's school.

The "Gun Play" rapper believes that the shooting at Newtown's Sandy Hook school was a conspiracy by the U.S. government to take the guns away from those who have.

Gunplay who accused the government in a series of Tweets that were later deleted said, "Government killed dem kids to take our guns away. Another 9/11. Dont get it twisted," he wrote, XXLMAG reported. "Yall are sheeple 4 thinking da government aint gotta hand in every crisis since the great depression."

This is followed by a Tweet tha is still on his page, "Yall got to be da most ignant naive MF's on earth yall gon see! Trust Obama he knows best. Lol," he wrote.

The Sandy Hook shooting shocked the world with its gruesomeness as the killer, Adam Lanza, 20, killed 20 first graders and six women. 

Music artists including rappers around the world shared their grief over the Newtown shootings. Gunplay chooses to differ.

Gunplay announced the release date of "Cops N' Robbers" Mixtapes, Dec. 19. It is set for Jan. 8, 2013 release date.

Gunplay is placed under house arrest after is armed robbery incident. The police had issued a robbery warrant against him in October. He later surrendered to the police. Gunplay had allegedly robbed a man at local tax business in April.
