Kristen Stewart joined "Twilight" author Stephanie Meyer at Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards on Tuesday (June 16). But the 25-year-old starlet did not appear on the Red Carpet, in order to avoid any questions having to deal with rumored girlfriend, Alicia Cargile.
As MstarsNews previously reported, Stewart's own mother allegedly ousted her "secret" lesbian love affair. Such rumors have since been denied, and K-Stew remains rather mum on the subject. In fact, the "Still Alice" beauty despises such media attention:
"It's very upsetting for Kristen because she hates having the spotlight on her personal life" an alleged HollywoodLife.com insider explains. "She's been living a relatively anonymous life, at least when you compare it to what she went through with Rob, so this feels like a big step backwards. She can't wait for it to be over and for people to leave her alone again."

While Stewart thwarted the paparazzi, she did pose for pictures inside Los Angeles' Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. She also took the stage alongside Meyer to celebrate finalists of the "The Storytellers: New Voices of TheTwilight Saga" competition.
According to Gossip Cop, both Stewart and Meyer teamed-up with Women In Film (along with movie director Catherine Hardwicke) to judge the short film series. The contest was announced back in September as "an opportunity for aspiring female filmmakers to create movies using the 'Twilight' characters."
At the event earlier this week, six finalists and a "wildcard" contender (fighting for a $100,000 prize) were officially announced. Their clips will premiere on Facebook soon, so stay tuned!
Meanwhile, FKA Twigs still won't "allow" Robert Pattinson to invite his longtime ex-girlfriend to their upcoming wedding...
And somehow, Stewart manages to ignore such "love life" drama and continues her successful career instead. And she looks absolutely gorgeous!
Do MstarsNews readers agree that K-Stew still totally rocks it?
