The Atlanta Falcons face off the Detroit Lions in a Saturday night game at 8:30 PM (ET) in Detroit. After an amazing win against the New York Giants the Falcons could gain home field Advantage in the NFC playoffs and are 1 win away from the number 1 seed.
The Atlanta Falcons haven't won a game since 2004 and are trying to prove themselves worthy of gaining the number 1 spot. As for the Detroit Lions beating the 5th favorite team to win the superbowl may not be a factor. An important performance to watch out for point in tonight's game is to see Calvin Johnson break Jerry Rice's record of 1,848 receiving yards in one season. So far Johnson holds 1,667 through 14 games, and will need to average 91 yards per game to break Rice's record, which may be the Lion's only high point this season.
