Canadian pop sensation, Justin Bieber, has angered animal rights activists. He gave his pet hamster PAC to a loyal "Bieberite," last week at the Jingle Ball in Atlanta.
The teen heartthrob committed an act of "animal cruelty" when he gave away the hamster, according to California Hamster Association, TMZ reported.
Hamsters are very tiny and delicate creatures that "often succumb quickly to illness and death," especially when faced with "sudden environmental change."
Hamster Association said Bieber could have given it to an animal shelter if he did not want the pet. But anyways, PAC is being looked after pretty well by Belieber, Tori of Alabama, 18.
Bieber's Pacquiao Gaffe
Filipinos are angry with Bieber so much so that the Filipino Congress has threatened to ban him from entering the country, Dec, 19.
This extreme step was taken because the pop sensation did not show sensitivity when he posted pictures of Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao, after he lost in a fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, earlier this month, The Telegraph reported.
Bieber had posted two photos of Pacquiao - one where Pacquiao is flat on his stomach and Disney's Simba is trying to wake him saying "Dad wake up" and another image mocking Pacquioa's stance before he hits the ground but with the late Michael Jackson's leaning pose from "Smooth Criminal."
