Before we celebrate Father's Day 2015, this is the perfect opportunity to check out who are the Best And Worst Superhero Dads in the comic book universe. Some people just aren't meant to be a parent and raise a child; we're looking at you Magneto, Lex Luthor, and Ra's Al Ghul.
Check out who we think are the worst superhero dads in the comic book universe here:
Ra's Al Ghul
By Yasmin Merchant
He abandoned his daughter Nyssa in a concentration camp during WWII. His reasoning? Even though he did not agree with Hitler, his own plans could be helped by the Nazis ethnic cleansing. Classy guy right? He's not a great grandfather either; he tried to use Damian's body as a shell for his soul.
Bonus: Didn't he just try to give away Nyssa (Katrina Law), who happens to be a lesbian, into a forced marriage with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) on Arrow?

Brian Banner
By Yasmin Merchant
Ever wonder why Bruce Banner is so angry inside? It's because of this guy. He beat him and killed his mother right in front of him. The image of Brian Banner constantly torments the Hulk. One monster created another.
Bonus: When you're played Nick Nolte in the big screen version, you know you a horrible father.
Kingpin
By Yasmin Merchant
Once his son found out that his father was a criminal, it was so traumatizing that he faked his own death. Then he came up with this elaborate plan to dethrone Kingpin's empire. Even though they reconciled, Wilson Fisk's son keeps trying to overthrow him; it's a mess.
Bonus: In the Spider-Man cartoon series, Wilson Fisk watched his son take the blame for him in court.

Deathstroke
By Yasmin Merchant
Slade doesn't have a great track record. His first son got killed trying to imitate him, he mercy killed his other son, and then injected his daughter with a serum that made her insane. If your daughter feels like she needs to stab herself in the eye to get your attention, you may have failed as a parent.
Bonus: Terra was sort of like his daughter; Deathstroke trained her to spy on the Titans.

Magneto
By Yasmin Merchant
He constantly manipulated Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver so that they would stay in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. And he almost killed Quicksilver once. This made Scarlet Witch feel like their father cared more about mutants than his children. She strips 99% of the mutant population's powers. Damn, those are some strong daddy issues.
Bonus: Marvel, they have to be Magneto's kids. Because if they're not, the two are no longer interesting.

Bonus Round
Lex Luthor
By Yasmin Merchant
Luthor does not care about Superboy at all. He only donated his DNA to Cadmus so that he could use Superboy as a means to destroy Superman. And then he brainwashes Superboy and forces him to attack all of his friends.
