Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta couple Margeaux Simms and Nikko Smith explain how they met and why they kept an open marriage.
Nikko told VH1 that he was amazed at the Canadian's beauty and immediately fell in love with her, "When we first got together, I told her I loved her. Music Industry, pretty woman, people shouldn't know we're together because it's gonna hinder you from moving to the next level. They can't know we're in a relationship."
He explained how Margeaux took advantage of their "open marriage" and strayed, "She was 10-years younger than me and at that time she was in her early 20's. The years went on in our relationship, she took that and ran with that knowing the love that I had for her, but she wanted something else."
Margeaux explained, "The open relationship we had, kind of happened by default. To be honest, it was never like that in the beginning."
Last episode, Margeaux told Nikko that Mimi admitted to lying about the sex tape.
"'Ok, I did the tape.' She's admitting it because I already opened my big mouth and said everything. I'm looking at her like your pathetic," Margeaux told him.
Once the former couple successfully lifted the weights off their shoulders, they discussed about working their struggling marriage, however a crying Margeaux suggested they separate because they were too toxic for each other.
