Kris Jenner Says Caitlyn's Vanity Fair Cover Is "Amazing," Ex Inspired By 'I Am Cait' Star

Caitlyn Jenner has been getting a lot of traction since gracing the cover of Vanity Fair with tons of celebrates speaking out about her bravery and courage. While most of the Kardashian/Jenner clan has been by Caitlyn's side as she makes the transition from Bruce to Caitlyn, a lot of people were waiting for ex-wife Kris Jenner to come out in support of her former lover. Rumors might have come out saying Kris was upset by everything that has transpired in her relationship, but it is being revealed that she actually found the magazine cover and Caitlyn's decision to go public with her transformation as inspirational.

According to Us Weekly, the magazine caught up with Kris while her and her new beau Corey Gamble attended the Cannes film festival earlier this month in France, and Caitlyn's ex said that she couldn't be happier for her former lover.

"I think it's amazing," the star explained, adding. "I think that someone following their dreams is truly inspirational to a lot of people ... you have to do what makes you happy."

Extra is reporting that while Kris is supportive of her ex, she is still trying to wrap her mind around why Caitlyn wanted to be married to her if she had always felt like a woman since she was a child.

"He was married to me and he wasn't who he wanted to be so he was miserable," the star explained to the magazine. "Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy? Why would you not explain this all to me?"

However, it seems like the famous celebrity exes have nothing but love for each other, as Caitlyn's tweet about Kris earlier this month brought a tear to our eye.

"Reading that VF article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for some many years. Wouldn't trade that time for anything!" the star wrote.
