There's plenty of controversy around the police in the United States of America, especially the NYPD, but one Big Apple cop put all of the stereotypes to rest this week during the NYC Gay Pride Parade in Manhattan. From what we can tell from this amazing new viral video, this awesome officer didn't want to miss out on all of the festivities and celebrations, and jumped into the party. Check out this cop dancing with one parade attendee, getting down and dirty with some great dance moves including some twerking action!

After last week's historic Supreme Court ruling, legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide, the gay community had even more to celebrate during the annual Gay Pride event. We all knew this would be the biggest celebration in the United States, meaning the NYC parade would be even more outrageous than normal. Heck, even the cops got into the partying!
"This ruling is a victory for America, this decision affirms what millions of Americans all believe in their hearts: when all Americans are treated as equal, we are all more free," President Barack Obama said shortly after the ruling was announced, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Soon after this speech, this cop really took the President's words to heart and danced his heart out in front of an adoring crowd, including the Internet!
Thanks to the obvious amazingness of the video, this dance has gone viral, with plenty of positive attention shining down on the NYPD. This officer definitely helped out his departments' PR by dancing at the Pride Parade.
