Woman Dies On Plane: 25-Year-Old Dead From Brazil To Texas Flight, Homicide Detectives Called

A 25-year-old woman died on an American Airlines plane flying from Brazil to North Texas, which was diverted to Houston on Wednesday.

Jodi Silva, Houston police spokeswoman says homicide detectives responded to George Bush Intercontinental Airport, but found no trauma on the young woman.

The Boeing 777, Flight 962 took off with 220 passengers and 14 crew from Sao Paolo, Brazil after 1 a.m. heading towards Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The flight landed due to a medical emergency shortly after 6:30 a.m. and later headed to DFW airport after a three hour delay.

Name of the victim hasn't been released yet. Story still developing.
