Karrueche Tran admits to hiring security to keep her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown away from her at the BET awards after their awkward run-in at an L.A. nightclub.

A viral video shows the actress talking about her BET weekend (where she slayed the red carpet) and why she decided to have security with her at the award show.

"This weekend though, I did have security just because as you- I'm sure you know, things got a little crazy a few weeks ago," she told the interviewer.

Early Friday morning cameras were quick to catch the "Loyal" singer walking steps behind his heartbroken ex and later jumping into her car where their voices could be heard behind the paparazzi cameras clicks and spectators awkwardly watching with their jaws dropped.

Recently, Kae told Big Boy's Neighborhood that she always tried to avoid a run-in with the star, "It's hard...I make it so we don't have to cross paths so it's not awkward but I do get on Instagram and there's people tagging us or I'll hear a song, you know, but I kind of just block it out," she explained, "Definitely keep it cordial and positive, no drama. I'm not about the drama."
