Shah Rukh & Salman Khan 'Raees' & 'Sultan' Box Office Battle: No Drama Between Actors

Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are about to go head-to-head in a box office battle that will be taking place at Eid 2016. While Salman will be seen in Sultan, and Shah Rukh's flick Raees will both be facing off, there is another connected between Raees and Salman Khan. It turns out that not only with the lead actor in Raees be going up against Salman at the theater, but actress Mahira Khan, who is also part of the movie, will be battling Salman Khan on July 17 as two different projects of theirs will be fighting for the top spot. Mahira's film Bin Roye will be taking on Salman's project Bajrangi Bhaijaan on July 17.

According to Bollywood Life it seems that the recognition that Mahira has gotten from her TV role, as well as her spot in Raees, has made it possible for Bin Roye to be released.

"Mahira got a bit of recognition in India following the success of Pakistani drama series Humsafar that was aired here," the source explained. "Before bagging the lead role in Raees, she had a shot for Bin Roye, which is the only film that will release with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It is being distributed by a television channel here. Mahira will promote the film in India along with her co-star Humayun Saeed. After a premiere in Dubai, it will release in Indian theatres on Eid."

According to Hindustan Times, while the flicks are set to battle it out at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman are taking it all in stride, as they are reportedly friends now.

"We have now become friends, so everything we will do together," Shah Rukh told the news site. "For you all it is clash, but not for us. We both are going to do well then. There might be a business clash but there will be equal profit for us."
