Bethenny Frankel Divorce Jason Hoppy: 'RHONY' Star Takes Daughter Away From Husband

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are heading for splitsville. The "Real Housewives of New York" star was not with her and her daughter Bryn over the holidays in Aspen Colorado in order to move out of their New York pad. Recently, Frankel released a statement saying, "It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family."

According to Radaronline, Hoppy was reportedly back home packing up his belongings, "Jason is in the process of moving out of their $5 million pad," a source says. "It's not a healthy situation for them to be leaving under the same roof together because Bethenny doesn't intend on getting back together with him." The source added "Bethenny wanted out of the Big Apple since announcing her separation to Jason. Jason wasn't invited on the trip, and this is the second trip that Bethenny has taken with Bryn in the last two months without Jason." The source continued, "Jason didn't want Bethenny to go to Aspen for New Year's and wanted to spend time with his wife and daughter, but she refused. Jason's entire world has been turned upside down, and he is absolutely lost right now."

Bethenny tweeted on December 28, she was having fun in  the snow with her daughter, "I took Bryn sledding & we got pummeled in snow which was slightly traumatic. Will she ever go again?"

Previously, Frankel had been "meeting with lawyers and just figuring out the next steps" in order to protect her $100 million fortune. Aside from reality television, Frankel created the "Skinny Girl" cocktail brand which sold for $100 million and wants to protect her money and other entrepreneurial brands, "exit plan in mind for months," a source said.
