'Graceland' Season 3 Recap: Episode 2: Will Daniel Sunjata, Aaron Tveit Find "Chester Cheeto?"

After months and months of anxiously waiting, Season 3 of Graceland continues on USA Network. In Episode 2: Chester Cheeto, agents Mike Warren (Aaron Tveit) and Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) are in a race against time to defeat Ari Adamian (Rhys Coiro) and stop his criminal organization.

Mike wakes up and sees Dale Jakes (Brandon Jay McLaren), who doesn't know how to make a bow-tie. Everyone is dressed up for an event, except for Mike. At a church, Johnny (Manny Montana) is is sitting next to Sid (Carmine Giovinazzo, who is hiding a gun. The priest is hiding an unground tunnel, which helps Sid continue to escape.

In the bathroom, Paul hands over money and gets a gun in return. Paige Arkin (Serinda Swan) is given a medal of heroism but none of her friends are happy for her. Johnny and Sid come out of the tunnel and end up at a strip club.

Mike asks Paige to talk to her but she rejects him. Catherine (Vanessa Ferlito) is still thinking about revenge for the miscarriage she almost had. Paul spots Mike taking down more pills for his pain. Mike discovers Paul has a plan to take out  Ari, warning him it won't end well.

Paul watches Ari as he threatens a jogger in red, slapping him around. Paul holds onto the legs as the jogger signs Ari's legal document. Unfortunately, Paul lets his fingers slip and watches the jogger fall on top a pile of rocks.  

Catherine meets with Amber, who would have shot her belly if she had a gun. Because Catherine wants Jermaine, Amber gives up a name because she wants probation. Amber though needs to be let loose from her prison cell in order  for the investigation to continue. 

Mike meets with John Logan (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.), who isn't too impressed with his record. John manages to make a fool out of Mike, in front of his entire staff. When men with guns show up at the strip club, Johnny handcuffs Sid to protect him. Johnny gets into a fight and starts a shooting.

Tricking him out of his money, Johnny fools Sid into helping him save Lucia. Dale also spots Mike taking more of his pills and tells him to take it easy. At his physical, Mike asks for prescription but the doctor won't write it if he wants to retune to active duty.

Paul has his eyes dead set on shooting Ari, but then a woman starts yelling for him. Layla's father doesn't approve of their relationship, and would kill Ari if he found out. Returning home, Paul doesn't approve of Catherine getting to Jermaine because she almost lost her baby.

While Paige starts packing, Mike interrupts and talks to her. He still sees Nina in his dreams, asking Paige not to leave. Paige breaks down crying and hugs Mike.

Johnny and Sid break into the mansion, find Lucia, but realize the three need each other to survive. As Paige then drives Catherine over to a clinic, Sid and Johnny hold their enemy hostage as they sneak into his vault. With Lucia's life in danger, Johnny makes a choice, pulls the trigger, and kills Sid. 

Paul is in the parking lot when Catherine leaves the clinic. It turns out Catherine didn't even go through with it. Johnny wrecks his room knowing he failed. Catherine visits Amber and has plane tickets in her hands.

Unable to sleep because of the intense pain, Mike drowns down his last two pills as Paul gets himself into a car crash and kidnaps Layla.
