4th of July Vacation Picks: What to Pack for Independence Day Fireworks Celebration

The 4th of July is quickly approaching. This coming weekend, so many of us will be heading out to beaches and backyards for a little BBQ vacation alongside some drinks and possibly even swimming. But the real question everyone's asking is: What should we pack? What exactly should we bring to these soirées before heading out to check the fireworks show on this Independence Day?

Of course, if you're not one of the people asking that, well, we can't help you. But if you ARE wondering what some of the best items to pack are for your Fourth of July celebration, then please read on:

BOOZE
For all you lushes out there, alcohol is probably the most important thing on your list of items to pack for your July 4th celebration. Now, what kind of booze you decide to pack matters mainly on what kind of party you're going to. Therefore, we urge you to plan accordingly. Let's face it, you don't want to be caught slinging around those Bud Lights if you're at some hip, swanky Hamptons party, do you?

BATHING SUIT
Depending on where you are, and if wherever you are has a pool and/or beach, you'll need a bathing suit. Honestly, don't be that guy who drunkenly proclaims, "I'll swim in my jeans!" That might have been cool in high school, but not now, dude.

SUNSCREEN
Sure, wearing sunscreen sounds like something "losers" do. But you know what else is pretty loser-y? Not being able to have fun with your friends the next day because you're stuck inside looking like the flames of that grill you cooked on last night.

WATER
Alcohol is great for the Fourth of July weekend, but if you don't have any water to go with it and try and balance that drunkenness, well, be ready to feel dead all of next week.

SNACKS
Because what else do you do after a long night of drinking? You eat! So definitely make sure you bring some snacks.

Oh yeah, and we guess if you have room, pack some clothes for the weekend and stuff to sleep in. But only after the above necessities have been packed.
