Ever since the English rock group Oasis broke up in 2009, fans world over have wanted to see the band members reunite. But Liam Gallagher, former frontman of Oasis and brother of former band member of Oasis, Noel Gallagher has quelled all rumors over the reunification of Oasis at a future date.
Liam, known for his distinctive style of behavior, unpredictable behavior and annoying attitude, was evidently bitter when Q asked him about his brother Noel and his solo career and the breakup of their band. "Was I pleased for him? What, for splitting up my f--king band? I'm not pleased for him, no! I hope he's f--king happy but he doesn't look it," Liam replied, NME reported.
Noel Gallagher had quit Oasis, Aug. 28, 2009. After his departure from his band he went solo, and released an album in 2011. Noel apparently has a successful solo career.
When further asked about the Oasis's reunion rumors, Liam spit fire and said he was not too happy about these rumors and said these rumors were Noel's creation.
"It was Noel who started that rumor, I've never said a f--king dicky bird. F--k Oasis as far as I'm concerned and f--k Noel Gallagher. The thought of going onstage with that f--king idiot and hanging out with his daft mates, the pretend drug addicts and all his snobs from Sloane Street. F--k that, not interested, mate. We're Beady Eye all the f--king way."
Liam started a new band, Beady Eye in 2009 consisting of former Oasis members, guitarists Gem Archer and Andy Bell and drummer Chris Sharrock. He rolled out his first album "Different Gear, Still Speeding," Feb. 28, 2011. His band is recording their next album. "I've got a new record, I'm buzzing off it," added Liam.
