WWE presents its Beast in the East live special from Tokyo, Japan at 5 a.m. EDT on Saturday, July 4, and the main event features a stellar match between Finn Balor and Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship.
Chris Jericho defeats Neville when he counters a Red Arrow attempt by getting his knees up and then locking in the Liontamer for the submission.
Nikki Bella retains the Divas Championship against Paige and Tamina, who replaces Naomi after she had a death in the family. Paige has the PTO locked in on Nikki, but Tamina superkicks her and then Samoan Drops the champion. She tries for a Superfly Splash, but Nikki dodges the attempt and smashes her with a Bellahammer.
Brock Lesnar demolishes Kofi Kingston, who looks like he's about to wet himself as he slowly enters the ring. He uses his speed to avoid Lesnar for a while but the Beast ultimately catches him and delivers three German suplexes. Lesnar then picks him up and drops him with an F5 for the win. As Lesnar is leaving, he sees Kofi climbing to his feet, so he puts him back down with another F5. Xavier Woods and Big E try to help their friend, so Lesnar gives them each an F5 as a parting gift.
Finn Balor faces Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship. Before the two men are introduced, each man is given flowers as per Japanese custom. Owens just tosses them away. When Balor's name is announced, streamers pour into the ring. Balor eventually wins this amazing match after a second Coup De Grace. Tatsumi Fujinami comes down to the ring and congratulates Balor. Owens gets up and Balor offers his hand, but Owens ignores him.
John Cena and Dolph Ziggler defeat King Barrett and Kane when Cena gets the hot tag and delivers Attitude Adjustments to Kane and Barrett for the win. The two faces celebrate to end the show.
