Sophia Bush of 'One Tree Hill' & 'Chicago P.D.' Shares Instagram Photos of Charity, Activism

Sophia Bush is probably most widely known for her role as Brooke Davis on the CW long-running series, One Tree Hill that ran from 2003 until 2012. Although the actress now stars on Chicago P.D. as Detective Erin Lindsay, there is a lot more to this young lady than meets the eye. Sophia Bush not only is the co-founder of i smell great cosmetics but also contributes daily in whatever way she can to humanitarian causes. Most recently she journeyed to South Africa where she was honored to be a guest at the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Archbishop, Desmond Tutu and his wife Leah.

Bush keeps her journey log through her personal social media sites, using her popularity as an actress to bring about awareness for various causes. Only a few months ago an ex-boyfriend and dear friend of Bush's passed away in the avalanche on Mount Everest caused by an earthquake in Nepal back in April of 2015. Dan Fredinburg, a fellow activist and as Bush would refer to him as "one of [her] tribe," was a senior executive at Google and attempting to launch a program called Google Adventure that would have been able to give viewers a top-notch view from the world's highest peak. Much like Fredinburg, Bush wants to bestow kindness and help all that she can. She has made trips all around the world from Nepal to Africa to Uganda. She is constantly traveling and attempting to make a change all over the world. Bush is someone to follow who has inspired so many of her followers already. In addition to her grand escapades, Bush also merely posts inspirational quotes on her Instagram and Twitter accounts to her fans and followers.
