Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Harry Styles started off 2013 with a vacation in the Caribbean where they posed with some fans, but Swift's father is worried the relationship might be moving too fast, according to a source.

The young couple flew to Virgin Gorda only days after sharing a very public kiss in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Fans who saw the couple on vacation took photos with them, though they posed in separate pictures, and posted it on Twitter and Instagram.

"British Virgin Islands have no idea what's coming their way," @LilHELDD wrote online on Dec. 29. A few days later she posted,  "Just bought Taylor swift and Harry Styles a drink. No joke. #whathappensinBVI.... DEAD FREAKIN SERIOUS I'm gonna try to get a pic with them but I'm scared."

Another fan, @ban_ANNIE, said on Twitter that she is also in the Caribbean, and wrote, "I actually made friends with fish and Taylor Swift and Harry Styles!!! So ha!!!"

A picture of Swift with four fans also reads, "She's awesome. Better in person. I LOVE TSWIFT." Two of the women in the image also share a photo with Styles.

Swift's father, Scott Kingsley Swift, has managed the 23-year-old's singing career since she started with "Teardrops On My Guitar." An insider told PerezHilton.com that the father is concerned about the amount of heartbreak his daughter is going through, and also the seriousness of her relationship with the 1D singer.

"He likes Harry but he wants them to slow down and take things easy," the insider said. "It's clear to everyone they are smitten with one another and already talking about marriage. He doesn't want them to split up as fast as they've got together and for Taylor to end up devastated."

Both Swift and the boy band singer are nominated at the People's Choice Awards, which airs on Jan. 9. Will they finally take their relationship to the red carpet?
