Happy Birthday Comedian Jim Gaffigan! Top 5 Stand Up Bits Before TV Land Show Premiere

It's July 7, folks. What that means is Jim Gaffigan's TV Land series premieres in just eight days. That, and today is the comedian's birthday! Therefore, we at MStars News thought we'd pay some respect to the stand-up, who is now 49 years old, and go through some of our favorite comedy bits and segments he's had over the years.

So, ladies and gentlemen, let's all enjoy the comedic perfection that is Jim Gaffigan.

MCDONALD'S

Taken from Gaffigan's 2012 special Mr. Universe, this bit talks about the lack-of-admission from the masses that they venture out to McDonald's. Despite everyone in the world talking about how bad the restaurant chain is, they're able to sell six million burgers a day. Which is questionable.

WEDDINGS

From Gaffigan's 2014 album Obsessed, this bit about weddings discusses the need for ice cream and the truth that weddings these days aren't as important as they once were. "We're a bunch of weirdos. Weddings are kind of weird!" Gaffigan jokes.

HOT POCKETS

Okay, this one is a classic so we figured we had to toss it in there. That, and it's still hilarious today. "HOOOTTT POCKETS!"

BACON

"The most beautiful thing on Earth," Gaffigan says of bacon. And, well, we can't really disagree there.

MEN V. WOMEN

On a recent Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon appearance, Gaffigan talks about the differences between men and women, specifically that being the latter just seems way too hard of a thing to do. And just like the bacon thing, he's 100% right.
