Amy Winehouse Death: Second Inquiry Gives The Same Result As First – Accidental Alcohol Poisoning

For the second time, soul singer Amy Winehouse died due to accidental alcohol poisoning. A second enquiry into the untimely death of the troubled singer has produced the same result as the first enquiry into her death, MTV reported.

Winehouse, death came July 23, 2011. She was aged 27. The first enquiry was closed as the coroner who had examined it was found to be lacking in qualifications and hence a second investigation was started.

The signer died at her home in Camden, England. She reportedly had large amount of alcohol content in her body.

Dr Shirley Radcliffe, Coroner said that the cause of her death was "alcohol toxicity," and she "voluntarily consumed alcohol" adding there were two bottles of vodka found on the floor neat the bed when her body was found, BBC News reported.

Dr Christina Romete, Winehouse's personal physician, had met the star the previous night before her death. "She specifically said she did not want to die" and added, "She was genuinely unwilling to follow the advice of doctors, being someone who wanted to do things her own way."

The singer was famous for her struggle with drug addiction. She even had a song named "Rehab."But the enquiry found no evidence of illegal substances in her body when she died.

Winehouse had won six Grammy Awards for her album "Back to Black."
