People love bringing up old news! MStars News has learned that some drama has come back to haunt singer Monica Brown as she celebrates her 5-year wedding anniversary with her NBA husband, Shannon Brown. According to Baller Alert, a follower of the singer is reminding everyone why Brown and singer Ciara are allegedly not friends anymore.
In the post below, the Instagram user claims that Ciara wasn't tagged in Monica's wedding photos while she reflects on her big day (back in 2010) because they fell out following Future's cheating scandal.
The user wrote, "[She] and Ciara were no longer friends because while Ciara was pregnant Future was cheating on her with one of his baby mamas who also happen to be a friend or associate of Monica & the baby mama told Monica about their relationship & she kept it hidden from Ciara who eventually found out & it was devastating. [sic]"
The user, who seems to know the entire story, continued: "Monica was Ciara friend but couldn't warn her. I love Monica but she's too friendly because Ciara was more of her friend than Future's other baby mama & maybe she wanted to stay out of it but still Ciara was her friend I would have warned my friend."
Monica soon got the news that people were talking and replied to the girl who goes by the name of chasifly on Instagram.
The singer wrote, "@chasifly Lord you made a lot of assumptions with zero facts. I love her and always will. I simply refuse to make a spectacle of the many years we shared. Regardless to what I say or don't say speculation will continue. Hence the dissertation you wrote. Stay focused on the day & the post. Nothing else is anyone's business."

If you take a look at Monica's Instagram page, it does appear that she isn't tagging Ci-Ci in any of her photos. In the snapshot that sparked the past drama, Monica wrote, "7-9 Until Forever The women in My Life are unbelievable... Melinda @vanessabryant @majorgirl @mekabattle@beautymarkstudio @independentmiss @trinarockstarr @eudoxiee @shunmelson"
Some of Monica's followers also wanted to know what was going on, and why they couldn't start over as friends. Then there were some who even defended Ciara and claimed that she was "unbothered" with the ordeal.

From the looks of it, Ciara is still all smiles, and is focused on her career and her new man, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The couple have been dating for some months, and Wilson even revealed that they have decided to stay celibate right now.
