Baseball's back for the official 2015 MLB season!
The New York Yankees take the field against longtime MLB rivals the Boston Red Sox in Week 14 of the regular season on Friday, July 10 at 7:10 p.m. EST at beloved Fenway Park in Massachusetts. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Friday evening ballgame online - also catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
While New York snags a rather high spot in ESPN.com's official break-down of all 30 teams (power rankings), Boston lags a bit behind:
Red Sox (23): " With super-utilityman Brock Holt filling in for Dustin Pedroia at second base, manager John Farrell has had fewer options. To fill in for Mike Napoli and his 2-for-30 slump on Sunday, Farrell tapped David Ortiz for his first start at first base at Fenway in 10 years." Ryan P. Morrison, Inside the 'Zona
Boston currently maintains a steady 41-45 winning record and now remains 5th in the American League Eastern Division.
Yankees (7): "Brian McCann powered the Yankees to their first walk-off win of the season on Friday with a three-run homer. All season, McCann has been stepping it up when the Yanks need him the most: With runners in scoring position, McCann is posting a robust line of .371/.424/.671. Just don't ask him to set the table, as he's batting a weak .219/.296/.438 when no one is on base." Jason Rosenberg, It's About the Money
With that, New York holds a 46-39 winning record and snags the impressive 1st spot in the American League Eastern Division.
The TGIF ballgame will be broadcasted live on local sports channels WPIX and NESN.
