Piers Morgan will not be deported "on the President's orders." A petition signed by 100,000 Americans asking for the CNN host to be kicked out of the country after Morgan turned on gun lobbyists in the U.S. after the massacre of Sandy Hook Elementary school.

The British native answered the petition by interviewing Alex Jones, an American radio host about the right to bear arms. The interview became one of the most talked about interviews on the web. The host barely got through the interview without being shouted at and mocked. Jones, uttered facts in his southern accents then decided to imitate Morgan's British accent. The cringe worthy interview had jaws dropped as Jones told Morgan that 1776 will commence if guns are taken away and later told Morgan if he dislikes Americans rights that he should go back to England.

Press Secretary Jay Carney explained the First Amendment writing:

Americans may disagree on matters of public policy and express those disagreements vigorously, but no one should be punished by the government simply because he or she expressed a view on the Second Amendment-or any other matter of public concern.

We recognize that the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, sparked an intense, and at times emotional, national conversation about the steps we can take as a country to reduce gun violence. In fact, your petition is one of many on the issue, and President Obama personally responded by sharing his views on this important issue.

Morgan responded saying, "The bottom line, and I know this will be very distressing to people in Britain, is that I'm going to be staying in America on the President's orders."
