Carrie Underwood didn't let "Jesus Take the Wheel" earlier this week when she was put in a scary situation with her car. Instead the former American Idol winner took matters into her own hands. The country crooner faced every parent's worst nightmare when while on a shopping trip, her newborn baby Isaiah was accidentally locked in the car. The star welcomed her first child with hockey superstar Mike Fisher to the family back in February, and since then she has definitely been learning a thing or two about being a first-time parent. One of the lessons: don't leave your dogs in the car with your baby.
However, while very traumatic, it appears that the situation was handled in a timely manner and that everyone involved was fine, as Underwood took to her Twitter account shortly after to post about the experience.
"When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break the window to get in #WhatAreTheChances," the "Something in the Water" singer posted to her social media site.

According to Radar Online, while Carrie sings about trashing her ex's car in her smash-hit single "Before He Cheats," it was her own car that took the beating this time around. Underwood enlisted the help of her brother-in-law to break the window of her car so she could open the door and get to her baby and dogs.
Underwood definitely channeled some of her inner badass for the feat ... kind of like in the video below.
