50 Cent Threatened? Mocks 'Dead Broke' Bankrupt Controversy On Instagram, Ignores Gang Drama

Rapper 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy earlier this week, but that doesn't mean that the G-Unit hypeman is "dead broke." He's just being cautious! But some Instagram fans are not amused with Fifty's legal antics.

During a recent E! News interview in promotion of his new upcoming movie "Southpaw," the infamous NYC emcee explains:

"I'm taking the precautions that any other good businessperson would take in this situation. You know when you're successful and stuff, you become a target. I don't wanna be a bullseye. I don't want anybody to pick me as the guy that they just come to with astronomical claims and go through all that."

The Street King Immortal superstar then continued:

"Walt Disney has filed bankruptcy. Donald Trump has filed bankruptcy. It means you're reorganizing your finances, but it does stop things from moving forward that you don't want moving forward. I gotta descent (sic) legal team. You don't have to worry."

Well, Fifty's words don't really reflect his actions on social media. Following this bankrupt shocker, the "Candy Shop" emcee shared this viral post:

50cent: "Times are hard out here LMAO #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO."

Obviously he's still living an extravagant lifestyle, and some followers aren't amused with his cyber jokes:

And in an official statement released to to USA Today, Fifty's attorney William A. Brewer III explains:

"This filing for personal bankruptcy protection permits Mr. Jackson to continue his involvement with various business interests and continue his work as an entertainer, while he pursues an orderly reorganization of his financial affairs."
