Josh Duggar Absent from Cousin Amy's '19 Kids' Engagement Celebration [PHOTO]

While it is a time of celebration for the Duggar family, as news of Amy Duggar's engagement was just announced, it doesn't seem like everyone was invited to the former reality star's party. Most of the 19 Kids and Counting crew was in attendance for the festivities earlier today, but one person was clearly missing from the lineup. Any guesses who? Well if Josh Duggar's name came to mind, then you would be right. Amy's cousin was noticeably missing from the snapshot that the family posted to their Facebook page earlier today. However, what makes the situation even more puzzling was that Josh nine-months-pregnant wife, Anna, was present in the picture smiling and beaming with happiness for Amy and her new fiancé Dillon King.

The family took to their official Facebook page to post the picture of the celebration. In the caption they wrote, "We are so excited for our niece Amy Duggar and Dillion King on getting engaged."

However, while a lot of the family members were in attendance for the big day, including cousins Jinger, Jana Duggar, Jessa, and her husband Ben Seewald, Josh was noticeably missing, along with Jill and Derick Dillard, who are busy on their mission abroad.

However, while it could have been a conflict of schedules, Radar Online is reporting that Josh's absence is most likely related to the molestation scandal that came to light earlier this year.

"Josh and Amy are actually the closest in age and grew up together. They are close. If the scandal hadn't come to light I have no doubt he would have been happily posing in the group photo," the source explained.

However Josh was sure to take to his Instagram account to congratulate his cuz on her engagement.

"Congrats to Dillon & Amy on your engagement... welcome to the family @kingdillpickle," the star wrote underneath a picture of the two of them.
