Rihanna New Album Release Delay, No Drake Collaboration? Mystery NYC Studio Session [PHOTOS]

Rumors suggest that Rihanna almost finished her highly-anticipated new album, but now wants to scrap the entire thing and start fresh! Some fans are rather frustrated, but the "American Oxygen" songstress is working hard to please her #TeamNavy supporters!

As MstarsNews previously reported, the 27-year-old Barbadian beauty didn't get any "good vibes" from the current compilation of R8. Recent singles including "FourFiveSeconds" and "B*tch Better Have My Money" were big hits, but still...

An alleged source for Page Six initially explained:

"The singles haven't caught on. She'll be fine because she's Rihanna - but it's not a good thing that the songs haven't stuck.. She released [the above songs] because she felt really passionate about [them] and felt an urgency to get them out to her fans."

But here's the good news:

"This isn't going to be another 'Diamonds' - She's never not in the studio. It's not her going back in. She never stopped."

True! The "Pour It Up" superstar was just spotted leaving yet another recording studio in New York City. Details still remain a mystery, but definitely a positive sign! Several weeks ago, the infamous #BadGal was spotted entering another nearby studio in the Big Apple with former lover, Drake. Obviously if Chris Brown's ex was recording anything earlier this month, she did so solo. Should readers expect any more surprise collaborations this year?
