"After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with 19 Kids and Counting. The show will no longer appear on the air." the official statement read. "The recent attention around the Duggars has sparked a critical and important conversation about child protection."
"We spent the past month and a half in thoughtful consideration about what is the best way forward here," Marjorie Kaplan, group president of TLC, Animal Planet and Velocity networks, stated in a comment.

Following the announcement, The Duggars decided to speak out and make a statement about TLC's final decision. "Today, TLC announced that they will not be filming new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting. Years ago, when we were asked to film our first one hour documentary about the logistics of raising 14 children, we felt that it was an opportunity to share with the world that children are a blessing and a gift from God," the family statement read. "We are so thankful for our film crew that has shown up at our house for over a decade. They have become like family to us. They have invested their time and energy into our lives and have been so loving and patient. We love and appreciate them so much! Over the last several years people have said to us, "We love your show!" We have always responded, "It's not a show, it's our lives!" Our desire in opening our home to the world is to share Bible principles that are the answers for life's problems. With God's grace and help Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become," the family added.

In the middle of the Duggar molestation scandal, former fans learned that Jessa and Ben Seewald were expecting their first child. Since the drama, the couple have let the controversy go and continued to share special moments from their pregnancy for the people out there who do still follow them.
In the snapshot below, Jessa, whose baby bump is clearly growing by the week, and her husband celebrated the 4th of July holiday.
Happy 4th from our little fam to yours!

Jessa, along with Jill Duggar, were among two of the females that their older brother, Josh Duggar allegedly molested a decade ago. As for Jill and her family, they seem to be doing just fine as well as we all watch baby Israel David grow up. Jill and Derick just celebrated their first wedding anniversary too!
